IMAX® Location to Reopen at Cineland Grand Mall – Varna at the end of November 2024Varna – (30th September, 2024) –Cineland®, the new operator of the cinema complex at Grand Mall – Varna, announced today that guests visiting the cinema complex will once again be able to enjoy the world’s most innovative movie-going experience when the IMAX® location reopens at the end of November this year. The IMAX location will be fully refurbished with luxury recliner seats, a new interior and a lot of new services as part of Cineland’s project for renovation of the cinema complex. The IMAX theatre will be custom designed for use in the Cineland Grand Mall multiplex theatre.
IMAX’s cutting-edge projection system coupled with customized theatre geometry and powerful digital sound delivers crystal-clear images and heart-pounding audio, creating an immersive cinematic experience that audiences cannot get anywhere else. Moviegoers who visit the new IMAX at Cineland Grand Mall will truly be transported into today’s biggest blockbusters.

The movies shown in the IMAX theater will be digitally re-mastered specifically for IMAX with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The DMR process takes full advantage of the clarity, detail and size IMAX can deliver, transforming films to produce the best possible version of a filmmaker’s vision. The soundtrack will also be re-mixed for IMAX proprietary sound technology.
All IMAX screens are monitored 24/7/365 by the IMAX Network Operations Center (NOC), ensuring every screen and showtime is fully optimizing IMAX’s cutting-edge technology.
