The New Bulgarian Romantic Comedy Divorce on Credit Arrives at Cineland Cinemas on July 24

How do you divide love, an apartment, and a mortgage? The answer comes with plenty of laughter in the new Bulgarian film Divorce on Credit, coming to cinemas on July 24.

Directed by Isidor Karadimov, the film presents an amusing yet painfully familiar story about love, separation, and the financial commitments that sometimes prove stronger than wedding vows.

At the heart of the story are Sofia (Lorena) and Pavel (Petar Petrov) – a married couple who have long grown apart and now live more like roommates than partners. The only thing still tying them together is the mortgage on their family apartment.

While Pavel tries to impress the young and charming Lucia (Simona), Sofia dreams of a fresh start and a life without compromises. But when a hidden bank account comes to light and Philip (Evgeni Genchev) enters Sofia’s life, the divorce quickly turns into a full-scale battle over love, money, and square meters.

Filled with humorous situations, witty dialogue, and unexpected twists, Divorce on Credit offers a fresh and entertaining look at modern relationships. The film is not afraid to tackle themes such as jealousy, financial secrets, and the difficult decisions that often accompany the end of a relationship.

Audiences will see Lorena, Simona, Petar Petrov, Georgi Elezov, and Evgeni Genchev in the leading roles – a cast that promises plenty of emotions and unforgettable comedic moments.

Divorce on Credit – the marriage may end… but the loan never does.

Don’t miss the new Bulgarian romantic comedy at Cineland cinemas starting July 24.

The film is distributed by NEW MAGIC FILMS, the country’s newest film distribution company, making its debut with this release.

Divorce on Credit is a production of Story Station Pictures.
